For sale here is a very nice US WW2 Army Air Corps USAAF Army Air Forces Enlisted Visor Hat Cap.  The body of the cap is made of chocolate brown elastique wool of a very high quality.  The cap does not have a mohair band, and is complete with an enlisted roundel eagle.  The cap has a brown leather chin strap and another chin strap added for a back strap.  The "back strap" does not have a hook to hold it up, and i believe this is just a soldier add on rather than a factory add.  The brown leather bill is very nice with no issues.  Inside, the cap has a supple leather sweatband that is marked feather weight.  The sweat shield has darkened, but it is not sticky, and it is not brittle.  The sweat shield has some paper stuck to it.  The rest of the cap is lined in tan satin that shows wear, age, and has some seam separation.  The cap is not named, maker marked, or size marked.  This cap fits like a large 7 1/4.  This hat is slightly misshapen when lying flat, but it looks great on a properly sized form.  This is a real beauty!
