This is a vintage Pickett PR-13 (LOG–LOG) Projection Slide Rule made for classroom demonstration using an overhead projector. It measures about 12” long and 1.75” wide and is made of clear plastic. It comes with a leatherette case and the instruction manual. The preface in the manual is dated 1953 but the manual has a zip code so it was published after 1963. These are fairly scarce rules as they were used in classrooms and probably only bought as singles to go with a classroom set of rules. Also, old stuff found in schools generally end up in the dumpster and not in the hand of collectors! This set of items shows little if any wear and is in excellent original condition.
