The Rapidograph drafting pen employs a "double helix (double air pressure adjustment groove) mechanism" to prevent ink overflow.
The capillary (capillary fluid system) cartridge system, where the ink adjustment part is replaced each time the cartridge is changed, requires no maintenance.
The design minimizes the contact surface between air and ink, making it less likely to clump or harden even with high-concentration, ultra-fine particle pigment ink.
