Quarto (4to). pp. ix, 159, complete with 34 colour plates (inc frontis). Accompanied by a Rackham exhibition flyer and a Heinemann promo leaflet.
The boards are in very good condition and presents nicely. Very small crease at head of spine but otherwise an exceptionally handsome copy. The binding is firm, and there are no loose pages. The endpapers are clean and unmarked, the hinges firm. The pages are in good condition with little sign of use thought there is some light foxing / some minor occasional offsetting and a few small closed tears. Tipped in plates have been collated and are complete, 34 in total including the frontis. A handsome copy in publisher's original cloth. Please see photos for condition. Weight: 1173g.
