This is the super rare Commodore SX-64, the "portable" Commodore 64.
The SX-64 turns on fine. It is very silent.
The embedded CRT monitor is working OK. Of course, this is a 40+ year old CRT, so it has lost some contrast. But displays perfectly.
The embedded floppy disk drive is working fine. We tested it successfully booting GEOS operating system.
The cartridge port is working fine. We tested it by booting Terminator game cartridge.
The SID sound chip is working fine. We tested it with the same game: it plays sound OK.
The keyboard is working fine. We tested it by pressing all keys, you can watch the 2nd photo. Most characters appear effortlessly, a couple of keys needed a second, harder press, but after that, they all displayed their keystroke fine.
The cable connecting the keyboard and the main unit appears not to be the original, but it gets the job done.
The SX-64 is a PAL model, 50Hz, 220-240-Volt, for the European market. If you are going to use this computer in North America or Japan, you will need to use a voltage transformer from 110 to 220-volt, else risking frying the power supply and maybe something worse.
The SX-64 has some scratches in the paint here and there, but overall is in very good shape.
We were told by a customer that the front bezel is broken in two places. We had not previously noticed this, but we are including this in the description.
We received the kind feedback from a customer, pointing out the following: "the feet and handle caps are 3D printed."
