This antique oval platter from J&G Meakin is a rare find for collectors of Victorian-era pottery. With a glossy finish and solid pattern in white, this Ironstone China piece is handmade and has a printed backstamp. Measuring 14.5 inches in length and 10 inches in width, this platter is perfect for all occasions and can be hand washed for care.

The platter comes from Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, England and is the only item in its set. It is an original piece, not a licensed reproduction, and was manufactured before 1891 when the mark was changed. This vintage item is a great addition to any collection of Ironstone China and would make a beautiful display.
