8vo. Publisher's original black cloth with gilt lettered titles and author name to spine, gilt still very bright, boards appear bright and well kept.
In the unclipped dust jacket, housed within a removable transparent protective sleeve.
Light edgewear, only, to jacket, with a small 2cm closed tear to base of rear fold, otherwise intact.
A previous owner has applied a date stamp to the top of the fly leaf and second blank. There are a couple of faint spots to prelims and some slight discolouration to top page edges.
Otherwise, there is no foxing or spotting to the remaining pages and page edges; there are no inscriptions or other ownership marks.
A first edition rarely found in as good condition as this copy; often, the jacket will have deteriorated or there can be foxing or other blemishes.
