This complete vintage lot features 15 blown-glass mercury Christmas ball ornaments measuring approximately 1.75" in diameter within an original Pyramid brand box. A wonderful mixed collector's lot, it includes a beautiful palette of aqua, turquoise, and teal blue finishes ranging from smooth reflective and frosted/matte patinas to a unique textured "ice/crackle" finish bulb. Micro-inspection of the hardware confirms a historical blend of three distinct metal tops: original smooth Pyramid caps stamped "MADE IN U.S.A.", iconic mid-century crinkled caps stamped "SHINY BRITE MADE IN U.S.A.", and an era-accurate "TAIWAN" replacement cap. The entire set is in good vintage condition with no structural glass cracks or breaks to the inner white plastic divider tray; the cardboard box is sturdy, retaining its clear cellophane window and a nostalgic original Walgreens price sticker. The bulbs exhibit lovely, authentic age-appropriate cosmetic wear, including light surface scuffs, fine scratches, and minor spots of internal silvering oxidation, with hardware variations noting some straight-pin wire hangers and one missing top wire loop.
