You are bidding on a black leather helmet from the Glasgow Fire Service.

Made by Scottish firm Hendry. Complete with impressive Glasgow mounted badde, chin strap and liner. the helmet is not perfect as can be seen from the photos. Note the liner is not fixed as its come away at the mounting points but is in included.

Glasgow Fire Service was merged with the Strathcylde Fire Brigade in May 1975. For further information the book Tinderbox Hero's by Alan Forbes and James Smith is a good place to start.

Any questions then please ask. UK bids only please. Helmet will be sent via Royal Mail however I am not responsible for how the Royal Mails handles the post. Where possible recycled packaging will be used. Helmet is sold as a collectable item only and should not be used for firefighting.

Thanks for looking and dont miss out on a great piece of fire brigade memrobillia.
