Progress Pride Flag

The Progress Pride Flag was created by American artist and designer Daniel Quasar in 2018. It combines the six-colour rainbow flag with a chevron formed from light blue, pink, white, brown and black stripes.

• Rainbow Field: Represents the wider LGBTQ+ community and builds upon the established rainbow Pride flag.
• Light Blue, Pink and White: Drawn from Monica Helms’ Transgender Pride Flag and foreground trans and gender-diverse communities.
• Brown and Black: Highlight marginalised LGBTQ+ people of colour.
• Black Stripe: Also recognises people living with HIV/AIDS, associated stigma and those who have been lost.
• Forward Chevron: Represents movement towards greater inclusion while acknowledging that further progress remains necessary.
