Size: The specimen is 1 3/16” on a 4 ½ x 4 ¼” plate.
Acts as an important index fossil to map early Cambrian layer
Excellent preservation is rare. This one however is exceptionally
well preserved. On this Daguinaspis the terminal axial piece is
present. Which is super rarely found. It appears to look like a small semi-rounded dot.
If you Google photos of Daguinaspis you will notice this feature
is almost universally tucked under.
