Antique Western Horse Bit, Brass Embellishments with Sunflowers

An antique Western Horse Bit. The Bit is made of iron and is embellished on both sides with brass Sunflowers. There looks like there was more brass under the brass buttons because there is a small piece just on one side, see closeup photos. Overall dimensions are 6" wide x 6 1/4". The Bit is just as I found it with rust on the iron.
