Antique J.D. Larkin Soap Co. Buffalo NY "Ocean Bath" Bar Soap Box, 7" - SCARCE!

Nice early J.D. Larkin Soap Co. (of Buffalo NY) bar soap box - truly a charming decorative collectible! Constructed of paper/paper mache or a thin cardboard, it features the original lettering on the front and a lacy look insert inside the box. The Larkin company introduced this scent in the late 1800's and it was in production through early 1900's, see last photo for a scent advertising card I found dated 1885. Exactly as found & pictured - overall excellent for age/use with normal signs of wear...see all photos for specifics.   *Note - box will be placed in additional boxed for careful shipment.
