A huge solid silver punch bowl, grape vines, Bacchus masks, crest, Gorham 1888.

Here is a very impressive sterling puch bowl with all-over deep relief decoration of grape vines and Bacchus cameos.

It was made by Gorham for George Webb & Co., an eminent firm of silversmiths of Baltimore, Mayland.

It is in two pieces, bowl and stand, and bolted together, see pictures.

It is in extremely good condition.

It bears a crest on one side and a multiple letter monogram on the other side.

Truly a masterpiece of silversmithing.

Dimensions: 36cm across handles, 30 cm high.

Weight: 3233 gms.
