VINTAGE THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE & FRIENDS MIXED TRAIN JOB LOT

Selling the complete Thomas & Friends collection pictured together as one auction lot.

A really interesting mixed collection containing trains and vehicles from different Thomas eras and manufacturers, including ERTL and TOMY, with a number of older/vintage pieces.

Characters/vehicles visible include examples of:

Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon and various other engines, tenders, coaches/vehicles.

There is also a Thomas-related helicopter included.

The underside photographs have deliberately been included because this is a mixed-age collection. Visible markings include examples of ERTL/Gullane/Thomas Ltd and TOMY, including a 1995 TOMY marked item.

IMPORTANT CONDITION INFORMATION

These are not mint collector-condition toys.

They are being sold as a genuine used/play-worn collection and some have substantial cosmetic wear.

Please expect:

Paint loss and chipping

Scratches and scuffs

Marks/discolouration

General play wear

Possible missing pieces

Possible incomplete engines/tenders

Loose or stiff moving parts

Untested battery/mechanical functions

The long blue/orange engine in particular has heavy paint loss/wear and appears incomplete, as clearly photographed.

I have not attempted to restore, repaint or improve them.

Because there are different manufacturers and generations represented, I have not tried to match every loose tender/vehicle to a particular engine.

Collector information

I've photographed the bases/undersides of the trains so collectors can see the manufacturer's markings and identify individual versions.

There appear to be a mixture of ERTL, TOMY and other Thomas & Friends pieces, rather than one matching train set.

Ideal for a Thomas collector, vintage toy collector, restoration project, spares/repairs collection or reseller.

No. This is a mixed collection containing ERTL, TOMY and other Thomas pieces.

Are they tested?

No. Any powered, battery-operated or mechanical functions should be considered untested.

Are they complete?

Not guaranteed. Some clearly show significant play wear and there may be missing parts/accessories.

Can you split the lot?

No, this auction is for the entire pictured collection.
