A genuine antique Bébé Jumeau by the celebrated Paris maison Jumeau, c.1890s. The bisque head is stamped in red TÊTE JUMEAU with the incised DEP, and the jointed body carries the blue BÉBÉ JUMEAU / Diplôme d'Honneur stamp.

CONDITION
Lovely example with only honest signs of age and use. Bisque head clean and attractive with fine paperweight eyes. Please note the set eyes sit very slightly out of alignment (see photos) - a common trait in antique bisque dolls and easily adjusted by a doll restorer if desired. Original wig and original leather shoes. The internal pull-string voice box is present but no longer works. Please study all photos, which form part of the description.
