The Askar 80ED is a portable 80mm refractor for visual astronomy and astrophotography. Its 560mm native focal length suits wide star fields, clusters and larger deep-sky targets, with lunar observing also possible using suitable visual accessories.

The two-element objective incorporates one ED glass element to improve colour correction. This is the 80ED doublet model, with a native focal ratio of f/7.
