Original 1984 Avalon Hill expansion, Dune: The Duel, created by Future Pastimes for the classic Dune board game.
This is an original vintage copy, complete with all original components, and is in good overall condition. The box has some corner/edge damage and general signs of age. Please see the photographs carefully for the condition of the box and contents.

Dune: The Duel adds a new layer of combat and intrigue to the classic Avalon Hill Dune game.
The expansion introduces Kanly, allowing players to issue specific threats to their enemies. If the threatened action is carried out, the two factions must settle the matter through a duel.
It also introduces the War of Assassins, in which leaders from each faction can enter the arena and fight to the death.
Duels take place on a dedicated three-ring arena. Players can use backup Spice, movement, attacks, defensive cards, blocks and other special Duel cards to outmanoeuvre their opponent. Leaders can lose strength during combat, with Spice used to absorb damage before the leader's strength is reduced.
The expansion includes 25 Duel cards, including directional attacks and defences, throwing knives, movement abilities, blocks and special cards such as Flee with Honor.
The six new Main Character leader discs can also be used in the main game. These powerful characters cannot become traitors, but if killed, their faction is eliminated.
