A tall figurine of a nude lady with grapes held aloft, attributed to Archimede Seguso, from circa the 1960s. Blown in blue and clear glass, frosted, the original sticker is underneath. The sticker is a generic Murano one, the Seguso attribution is based on other near identical figures. The sticker is somewhat worn, reading Murano made in Italy, there appears to have been a further central word which is no longer visible.
In very good vintage condition, but with two small areas of roughness: a small area on the lady’s hair and the outside of her right ankle. Neither flaw is noticeable in normal viewing, the piece displays perfectly.
Size: 47 cm high, base is 15cm diam, weight 1.7 Kg,
Please view all the photos before purchasing, they complete the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash.
