This is an original pre-production printing film positive used in the manufacturing of the Mighty Max "Tangles with the Ape King" Doom Zone packaging. This is the actual film used to expose the printing plate that produced the instruction diagram printed on the card. You can see the full interior playset layout illustrated on the film, along with the production job number 11118 stamped directly on the piece.

These films were internal factory documents — they were never meant to leave the production facility, which makes surviving examples genuinely uncommon. The film is in good vintage condition consistent with its age and use.

The film shows the natural amber yellowing you'd expect from 30+ years of age. Light water spotting may be present in some areas, as shown in the photos. The printed artwork is clean and fully legible. No tears, no cracks, no missing sections. Stored flat and comes with the acid-free hard plastic protector shown in the photos.
