This vintage August 1958 Berkley Books paperback printing (G-142) balances a solid Good to Very Good condition grading, showing tight structural integrity and clean, vibrant front and back yellow covers with minimal edge wear. The spine is exceptionally well-preserved for a mass-market paperback of this era, remaining square and completely free of heavy vertical reading creases or breaks, save for a tiny split pinch at the bottom tail corner tip where the cover meets the text block. The pages display uniform, heavy amber tanning (browning) along the edges and interior leaves due to natural, expected age-toning of the vintage 1950s wood pulp paper, but all text remains flat, highly crisp, and fully legible without any loose leaves or interior marks.

This book is in very good condition. Light shelf wear along the edges and corners of the front/rear covers as well as along the edges of the spine panel. The spine and pages are tight within the cover. Book is square and tight. There are no other marks, tears, bookplates or writing in these books. The book appears to be unread.
