This listing is for a Vandoren B44 mouthpiece for Bb bass clarinet. This is an excellent quality, pro level mouthpiece. It is made of ebonite (hard rubber).

Please note that the Vandoren logo is completely worn off of this piece. This is very common for Vandoren mouthpieces of this vintage due to the fact that the logos are simply printed on the surface of the mouthpiece. It is still easily identified as a Vandoren by the "B44" stamp on the side, which actually is imprinted into the rubber.

This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There are light ligature scratches/scuffs on the exterior, and fading/discoloration of the rubber, but this is purely cosmetic in nature. The cork is in good condition. It has been cleaned/sanitized.

Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Thanks again for looking!
