Vintage, autographed promotional photograph featuring Gus Elton, a British variety comedian and entertainer active during the classic music hall era.

Performer Details

• The Character: He is depicted wearing a classic bowler hat, misbuttoned suit jacket, and baggy trousers, a style reminiscent of the popular "tramp" or comic cockney archetypes favored by working-class British theater audiences of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
• The Signatures: The card contains handwritten inscriptions in fountain pen ink. The top left is dedicated "To Sid Hammett", while the bottom right contains a friendly sign-off reading "All the Best, Gus Elton".
