Vintage Louis Marx & Co. No. 556 New York Central Lines caboose from the classic Marx 6-inch tinplate freight-car series, dating approximately from the late 1930s through early 1950s.

Features colorful original red, black and cream tin lithography, New York Central Lines emblem, Marx logo, raised cupola, open windows and four-wheel black metal chassis.

Original unrestored condition with considerable age and play wear including scratches, scuffs, lithograph/paint loss, oxidation, grime and edge wear. One tab-and-slot style coupler is visible; opposite coupling hardware may be missing. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition and completeness.
