| Will Bullas: It's a real thrill to see my watercolor
characters take on a new dimension. As three-dimensional works of art
if porcelain, they're now taken on a life that is, in a way, realer
than real. I start from the inspiration of actual animals I have known;
then make them do things they never would or could--so this is the best and
most beautiful way they could take tangible form. I cannot tell you how proud
I am to work with such master sculptors and porcelain artisans, and how much
being part of this delightful program pleases me. |
