Vintage Winnie the Pooh Writing Portfolio / Document Folder

A charming vintage Winnie the Pooh writing portfolio or document folder, featuring a coloured illustration of Pooh writing on a sheet of paper with a quill or pen.

The brown textured exterior also features a subtle repeated “Pooh” design across the surface.

The portfolio opens to reveal a brown interior with several useful storage sections, including a large document pocket, smaller pockets and a pen loop.

No manufacturer’s mark, date or copyright information has been found on the portfolio, so its exact age and maker are unknown. The exact material has also not been identified and therefore it has not been described as genuine leather.

Condition:

This is a well-used vintage item with considerable signs of age, use and storage.

There is widespread surface wear, rubbing, scuffing and marking to the exterior and interior. The edges and corners have particularly noticeable wear and areas of loss to the surface finish.

There is further wear around the central fold/spine area. The pen loop is heavily worn, with deterioration and loss to its surface covering.

The exterior design has faded and worn with age, including the repeated “Pooh” decoration, although the main coloured Winnie the Pooh illustration remains clearly visible.

The interior pockets remain present and show general age-related wear, rubbing and marks.
