A beautiful 1930s blush pink satin slip dress with an exceptionally soft, fluid drape. Cut in a long, body-skimming silhouette, it features a deep V neckline framed with delicate accordion-pleated trim, slender shoulder straps, and a dramatically low back.

Two vintage floral appliqués accent the bodice, while the openwork pink waist tie adds definition and can be styled loosely or knotted at the side. The subtle variations in the blush coloring and the luminous satin surface give the piece a wonderfully romantic, timeworn character.

Elegant as antique lingerie, but beautiful enough to wear as an evening slip dress. Style it with delicate heels for an ethereal occasion look, with a cashmere cardigan and ballet flats, or layered beneath an oversized blazer for a more contemporary contrast.

Condition

Very good antique condition with gentle signs of age and wear. Two floral appliqués were added to the bodice during restoration to cover areas of previous damage or discoloration. Subtle tonal variation may be visible in the satin under certain lighting. Please review all photographs closely.
