An elegant 1930s–1940s white satin slip dress with a beautifully constructed, lingerie-inspired bodice. The bust features sculpted satin cups framed by delicate lace and fine vertical pleated panels, creating a flattering and distinctly feminine silhouette.

Cut on the bias, the satin falls fluidly over the body and finishes in a softly flared midi-length hem. Delicate spaghetti straps and a low back complete the romantic design. Beautiful worn as a bridal slip dress, intimate evening piece, or layered with a jacket or sheer blouse.

The contrasting waist sash shown in the photographs is included and can be tied at the front, side, or back.

There is no fiber-content label. The fabric has the smooth drape and luminous finish of rayon satin, although its exact composition cannot be confirmed.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with gentle signs of age and wear consistent with a piece of this era. Minor irregularities may be present in the satin, lace, and original stitching. Please review all photographs closely.
