A truly exceptional antique silk cape / capelet, likely dating to the Edwardian era, adorned with intricate floral needle lace appliqué.

The craftsmanship is extraordinary — delicate silk ground with dimensional lace florals and trailing motifs. A rare and highly decorative piece.

I originally purchased this with the intention of restoring it, but I simply do not have the time to undertake such a detailed project.
