VINTAGE HEEMAF TYPE 1952 BAKELITE PTT TELEPHONE - ORIGINAL &
UNCONVERTED - EARLY DUTCH POST‑WAR MODEL.
On offer is an original, early version unconverted HEEMAF Type 1952 Bakelite rotary dial desk telephone with earth button, manufactured in the Netherlands for the Dutch PTT in the early 1950’s.
This is not a later 1960’s AEP/Ericsson model. It is the correct early HEEMAF Type 1952, verified by the HEEMAF shield logo, PTT roundel, Type 1952 schematic plate, early internal coil/capacitor layout and original cloth wiring.
This telephone is in excellent vintage condition with only minor age-related marks consistent with 70+ years of careful use. The original Bakelite handset and body have a deep gloss, the dial rotates smoothly, it retains its original braided handset cord (poor condition) and rubber covered line cord, the PTT badge, rotary dial, unconverted internal wiring, factory schematic plate and legible twin early style coils, capacitor block and untouched terminals, all of which appear clean and undisturbed.
There are no chips or cracks to the Bakelite.
It has NOT been converted for modern telephone use and comes with its original European 4-pin plug.
This is a genuine collector’s piece, retaining its original wiring, internal components, braided cords and factory schematic diagram plate.

This model is increasingly hard to find in an untouched condition and will make a fantastic example for the collector, restorer or simply as a display item.
