Wow-wow-wow!  A lot going on in this 1903 photo!!

Antique August, 1903 photo of a steamer ferry boat excursion across Flat Head Lake, Montana, to Wild Horse Island, as pictured.

Tidbits we discovered while investigating this photo:

 - We *think* that the steamer ferry pictured here is the Klondike (Klondyke?), based on other photos we found online.  Just a guess, but a pretty good one?!

 - The gentlemen in band uniforms have "MWA" on their chest, which we *think*....stands for Modern Woodmen of America, which was popular at the time for promoting and sponsoring community brass bands around the US.

 - Note the inscription on the back!!  Hilarious!  Also, the name Jessie Hamlin, which we have not investigated - passenger? crew?  

 - It seems like every time we look at this pic we notice additional details.....like that a significant number of the men appear to be wearing ribbons with pins/medals (??) on them, which leads us to guess that this was a group or club outing of some sort.

 - And then there's that baritone player sitting on the roof!  Ah....musicians haha!
