ERICSSON N2124A1T MAGNETO TABLE TELEPHONE - WORKING DYNAMO - ORIGINAL & UNCONVERTED - EXCELLENT CONDITION.
On offer is a superb and highly collectible genuine vintage Ericsson N2124A1T magneto table telephone which features an integrated hand-crank generator handle and classic mid-century styling. This is a highly desirable early Ericsson model introduced in January 1957 as part of Ericsson’s newly modernised magneto telephone line which is rarely found intact and unmodified.
Ericsson magneto telephones were widely used in private manual exchanges, industrial sites, and estate communications. The N2124A1T is a rarer internal generator desk model, valued for its robust heavy-duty industrial build and distinctive early Ericsson engineering.
This N2124A1T is a true period survivor retaining all original parts including the Bakelite body with its brilliant deep gloss finish which has no cracks, chips or structural damage and handset with cloth covered cord in excellent cosmetic condition and of the correct period type.
The Dynamo crank turns freely with the generator engaging mechanically. All bells and internal components are present with no modern conversions or rewiring. The telephone has perforations under the ringer gongs and ventilation cups on each side of the case near the handset giving free circulation of air. It also has the correct base plate stamped N2124A1T and the original wiring diagram is still present inside the case.
The phone has not been tested so it is offered as a collector’s item for restoration or display.
