Vintage British Anchor England Small Floral Dish / Bowl (1959)
A lovely vintage mid-century ceramic small dish/bowl manufactured in Staffordshire, England by British Anchor Pottery Co. Ltd. Dated April 1959 (stamped 4-59 on the base). Beautifully decorated with a central pink rose bouquet accented by white blossoms and green foliage, framed by an intricate gold filigree floral scroll border and a gilded outer rim. Ideal as a trinket dish, pin dish, berry bowl, or display piece for vintage English china collectors.

Condition In great vintage collectible condition with age-appropriate wear:
Body Surface: Light scratch and scuff marks are visible across the body, along with fine vintage glaze crazing consistent with age. Free of hairline cracks.
Rim: One small 4 mm chip along the top outer rim edge affecting the gold gilding (pictured).
Backstamp & Base: Stamped BRITISH ANCHOR ENGLAND shows age-related fading, with the bottom of the letter "B" in "British" partially erased/worn away. Underside base also features a 3 mm paint-off scratch mark and a minor spot dent mark (pictured).
Pattern & Finish: Central floral designs display minor fading due to age. Minor surface spot and paint-off marks present on the exterior wall.
