A Kwik Sew 457…a Kerstin Martensson Men’s Western Shirt Vintage Sewing Pattern in Size 36 – 38 - 40, Chest 36 – 38 - 40 inches.

The pattern is uncut and in original folds.  The instructions are there with tanning. The envelope is in excellent vintage condition with tanning, stains, foxing, tears, and wear.  The envelope flap is still attached. There is no copyright date but following my guide this pattern is 1973 or 1974.

I steamed the envelope flap open to check the contents.

This is a pattern master.  The best way to use this is to trace the pattern pieces in the sizes needed and use these tracings to cut the garment out of cheap fabric.  Using the cheap fabric, baste the garment together.  You can add fabric or remove fabric or write notes on this.  Once it fits correctly, remove the basting, and use the cheap fabric for the actual pattern.

All patterns are vintage items and sold...AS IS.  Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously.  I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by.  If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME!  I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.  Any coins used in the pictures are not included in the listing.

Pattern comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and is shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert.  The zip bag is great for storing the pattern!

Please note that I count the pattern pieces unless factory folded, assess the pattern's condition and press the pattern as necessary.  You will never purchase a pattern from me with 'It looks like it's all there' or 'Pieces need pressing'.
