I was fortunate recently to be able to acquire a good collection of antique & vintage sterling silver cycling prize fob medals dating from the 1890s up to the 1960s. I am now putting these medals up for auction at very reasonable starting prices (ofter below the sterling silver scrap price) but with a Buy it Now option for anyone who does not wish to wait.

This example is:

A sterling silver & enamel cycling fob medal from the 1930s.

The front of the medal depicts a rose with red & green enamel highlights. In dark blue enamel it is embossed:

"PALATINE CYCLING CLUB"

The obverse is engraved:

"1938. EXTRA CLUB 25. N. TAYLOR. 1H. 6M. 19S. FASTEST"

Sterling Silver Medal: Weight: 12.0 gm. Width: 27 mm. Height (excluding ring): 40 mm. Hall Mark: Birmingham 1938. Maker's Mark: Joseph Moore.

Summary: As can be seen from the photos this is an attractive & collectable vintage sterling silver cycling fob medal. Good luck!

NOTE: Please see my other listings of sterling silver cycling medals. If more than one medal is purchased please wait until you receive an invoice before paying as I am happy to combine postage.
