A 1777 Pfennig is an 18th-century copper coin from the fragmented German States. Different independent regions—such as Hesse-Darmstadt,Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, and Saxony—minted their own versions of the Pfennig with unique regional crests, monograms, and local weight standards. The 1867 1/2 Skilling issued by Norway (under King Carl XV). Norwegian 1/2 skilling is a small copper coin weighing 2.92 grams and measuring 18.5 mm in diameter. The coins are obviously circulated and have holes in them.
