I am auctioning off my King Ding with his robot brain. This is one of my childhood toys and I've owned it since the early 1970's. It's been mostly attic stored over the past 50 or so years. It comes in its original box with instruction sheet. The box is in overall good condition. The robot is in very good condition with no cracks. It appears that the handles the brain holds onto are missing. The last time I tried it was about 10 years ago and it worked (at least I remember the elevator working). I can't get it to do anything now. The battery contacts are clean with no battery corrosion. The switches on the back seem to need attention. The top one seems to work the best. The bottom one seems loose and may be part of the problem This can come apart but I'm not about to try disassembling. You can either display as is (as I've been doing) or try to get the motor working again. That might be the only way to get the brain out.
This item is listed in an auction format and I don't end auctions early for buy it now requests.
PLEASE NOTE: I typically ship next business day. However, once the package is in the hands of the US Postal service it is out of my hands and I have no control over how long it takes to be delivered. Be sure to take that in consideration when rating the delivery time.
