This is a Vintage Ideal Fiddlestix Wood Rod & Connectors Building Set. A  classic toy since about the 1950's. Made in the United States . Recommended for  children aged 4 and up. Originally had 144 pieces, but I counted 113, including original rods and connectors. Comes in the original tube-shaped box with lid. Pieces are clean and in very good condition.
