Greg Daly Lidded Bowl.

A covered bowl by Greg Daly, wheel-thrown in earthenware and subtly flattened to create a decagonal form. The decoration is shown on four faces. Signed ‘Daly’ on the underside, with his ‘GD’ stamp impressed on the footrim.

Size: 7.5 cm high, 14.5 x 13.5 cm; weight 380g.

Daly is a ceramic artist resident in the Cowra district, with many solo and group exhibitions worldwide, he is represented in many Australian galleries, and has published numerous books on ceramics and glazing techniques including ‘Glazes and Glazing Techniques’. He is particularly noted for his luscious lustre glazes.

Condition: very good vintage condition, with no crazing no cracks, hairlines or repairs, a minute fleabite to the glaze on the interior of the cover, trivial!
Please examine the pictures carefully, they are part of the description.
While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash.
