The listing is a set of two hardcover books titled "Famous Crimes Mysteries & Romances Great Stories Of Real Life Vol 1 & 2" by Max Pemberton. Published by George Newnes Ltd in London in June 1924, the books contain thrilling stories revolving around crime, mystery, and romance. The Great Stories of Real Life was originally published as serialized booklets published fortnightly between March 14 and August 1 of 1924. In June 1924 all the articles (see photo of contents) were published in a two volume set. This is one of the original sets that has survived the century. Illustrated with original content, these volumes are a valuable addition to any collection focusing on action, mystery, and adventure. Suitable for adult reading if you are super careful with the binding. I chose not to rebind and keep original. Shipment will occur as soon as payment clears the bank. See photos. USPS will require you to pay added insurance for shipment and for adult signature at time of delivery. WILL NOT BE MAILED MEDIA RATE. I encourage that if you live near Ventura County CA you come to pickup. ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE AS I AM UNABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS. I have included information from wikipedia to detail the exact stories included in these volumes.
