For your consideration is this vintage 1963 Gibson J-50 acoustic guitar with the original matching Archcraft plushline case.
This very crisp example, serial number 138561, remains 100% all original. It does display moderate fret wear from the 1st to 5th positions. Corresponding weather-checking and light pick wear is evident as well. It does not exhibit cracks, breaks, repairs, or modifications.
Preserved in excellent cosmetic condition, this is a no-issues specimen.
Even though this '63 J-50 retains the original undesirable injection-molded plastic adjustable bridge, it actually sounds amazing.
Surprisingly exceptional with respect to how great this acoustic sounds, it also also sports an incredible neck shape with factory large frets.
The action is low with very comfortable playability, and it's an overall a joy to play and it will undoubtedly captivate an audience. This '63 plastic bridge J-50 sounds better than most '50s Gibson jumbo models.
