For sale is an authentic, highly detailed vintage 1986 Bergamot Brass Works multi-event "Championship Rodeo" belt buckle. Made in Delavan, Wisconsin, USA.
Design Details:This striking pewter buckle features an intricate, high-relief three-dimensional multi-event design. The top section showcases a bucking bronc rider, the base depicts a team of steer ropers, and the center highlights a powerful bull rider framed by a twisted gold-tone lasso rope border.
The design is beautifully enhanced by a hand-painted metallic enamel inlay background featuring rich forest green and deep earth-brown tones, all contained within an ornate Western scrolling frame.
Features a beautifully raised, legible text scroll that reads:"Feats of skill and superb showmanship are watched with crowd roaring enthusiasm at rodeos across the country. Bronc riding is one of the most spectacular events, however, spectators are awed by all of the various shows of calf roping, bulldogging, bullriding and steer roping along with other special events."
Condition:Excellent vintage condition. The sculptural front detailing remains incredibly sharp with zero flattening or major metal scuffs. The hand-painted enamel background is fully intact with gorgeous luster and no cracks or lifting. The reverse side features a rugged, organic rock-textured finish with an ornate floral hinge bracket, a perfectly straight belt loop, and a completely rigid connection prong.
A fantastic statement piece for Western fashion enthusiasts, cowboy collectors, or fans of quality American-made vintage metalwork.
