This Krups Pixie automatic coffee maker is the smallest Nespresso machine to make great espresso coffee at home. In fact it's so ultra compact, its footprint is only 11cm wide on your worktop.
The Pixie uses easy-to-load Nespresso coffee capsules for great tasting, hassle-free espresso, while the automatic and programmable settings for cup size make operation a breeze.
This little coffee-making gem has a 19 bar high pressure pump and thermoblock heating element for the optimum water temperature and pressure, for great tasting espresso.
Thanks to its power save mode, the machine turns itself off automatically 9 minutes after it was last used, and there is an option to set this to 30 minutes if you prefer. A semi-automatic descale programme makes maintenance a breeze too.

Water Leakage - It is normal for your Nespresso Pixie to release some water into the drip tray when running it with no capsule inside. When a pod isn't present, there is nothing to restrict the water flow through the piercing plate, causing water to bypass the standard nozzle path and drain internally.
- Why This Happens - No Capsule Restriction: The machine is designed to build pressure only when a capsule is inserted. Without a pod, the water flow is unpressered and some of the rinse water naturally gets diverted into the internal capsule/drip tray.
- System Flushing - Running the machine with no capsule is the standard method for "cleaning" or "purging" the machine, and the resulting water is expected to flow through the internal drainage system into the drip tray
Noise Level - The Krups Nespresso Pixie operates at approximately 75 decibels, which is considered a normal noise level for compact espresso machines. It produces a high-pressure, vibrating hum during extraction, similar to the Essenza Mini. Although it is considered noisy by some users, the fast brewing time keeps the sound duration short
