Vintage Hornsea Muramic Lancaster Vitramic 15.5cm Pin Dish Bowl 1970s Retro

A very attractive vintage Hornsea Pottery Muramic shallow bowl, featuring a wonderfully bold geometric design typical of the period.

The shallow circular bowl has a chocolate brown body with a contrasting pale rim. The centre is decorated with a striking radiating combed/dragged glaze design in mustard yellow, olive green, black and white, producing an almost optical or sunburst effect.

The underside carries the gold factory backstamp:
