A beautiful antique Victorian solid gold and Old Mine Cut diamond daisy flower stick/tie/lapel pin and collar stud combination, dating to circa 1860 and coming with a Victorian Wrights of Brighton box.

This lovely antique Victorian stick pin has a solid 9k yellow gold head and a solid 7k rose-yellow gold pin, the head unscrews so it can also be used as a collar stud, the pin is in the form of lovely daisy flower with a central multi prong-set Old Mine Cut diamond surrounded by a further eight Old Mine Cut diamonds which all glitter and sparkle beautifully when they touch the light, the pin with twisted decorations in the middle to better grip fabric-a very pretty daisy flower pin! The stick pin comes in a blue and white Victorian box from the famous Wrights jewelers of Brighton, England (established 1848). The stick pin is unmarked, the head XRF tests for 9k gold, the pin XRF tests for 7k gold and the attachment screw system XRF tests for approximately 5.5k gold.

The stick pin measures about 2 5/8 inches long and is about 9.5mm deep. The daisy measures about 9mm across. The central diamond measures about 3mm and the others about 2mm. The pin weighs approximately 2.1 grams.
 

The stick pin is in very good condition with all over general wear. Seen under a loupe a few diamonds have fleabites around their edges and one with a couple of nicks on the table. The screw thread is strong and the daisy secures tightly to the pin. The box is in excellent condition with all over general light wear.

We make great efforts to honestly and accurately describe each item we list. We back this up with many photographs, all with a close-up zoom option for detailed inspection. As many items we sell are one hundred years or older we will not accept returns for wear consistent with the item's age.
