Obverse (Left):

Features a mature, veiled, and draped left-facing bust of Queen Victoria wearing a crown. The surrounding inscription reads: VICTORIA QUEEN AND EMPRESS and TO COMMEMORATE THE 60th YEAR OF HER MAJESTY'S REIGN.

Reverse (Right): Showcases an early depiction of the Australian Coat of Arms (featuring symbols representing agriculture, mining, and shipping) framed inside an open floral wreath. It is topped with the royal crest, marked AUSTRALIA directly above the shield, and signed SPINK LONDON at the very bottom. The surrounding legend reads: MAY THE BLESSING OF GOD CONTINUE TO CROWN YOUR GLORIOUS REIGN.
