Better bid now so you won't forget!!    Why not buy yourself a present??

This auction is for a stampless cover with a letter which asks the Callaway County Sheriff to "take out an execution" against two named men. I assume that doesn't mean to execute them, some kind of paperwork I suppose. The cover is postmarked from Jefferson City, MO, Jan 27. The letter is dated 1843 (might be 1823, hard to decipher, see the scan). It is on a sheet of paper which is about 16 by 9 1/2 inches. The letter is on one page which is folded to be 8 by 9 1/2 inches. Normal minor wear, otherwise good condition. Please see the scans for condition.

I've mailed about 25,000 postcards and received good feedback for packing but if you have a special shipping preference please contact me BEFORE the auction ends so we can agree on additional shipping cost if required. U.S. buyer to pay 1.00 P&H please. Non-U.S. buyers please pay $2.00 P&H. Ebay will add sales tax as applicable.  I combine shipping if a bidder buys more than one item. If you want combined shipping please use Ebay's cart feature and request a combined invoice before paying. Wait to pay until I send you a combined invoice. Please email me if you have any questions. I leave positive feedback for those who get payment to me within 10 days of my payment request. I normally do feedbacks in batches every 3 or 4 weeks so don't worry if I don't do yours right away, I will get it done. Please don't wait for me to do feedback before doing yours because I use yours as a sign that the transaction is complete.

Please be sure your email ID is correct on ebay and that you don't have a spam filter set which will prevent you from receiving my email payment requests.

Please visit my Ebay Store for other interesting postcards. I regularly add inventory so please keep watching.
