Tiny forget-Me-Not's flutter in delicate shades of rose, violet, blue, and pink across this fine bone china bud vase from Royal Worcester. A thin blue band covers the scalloped rim and the body floats down in wide bands gradually increasing in size before gently reducing again into the scalloped base. Founded in 1751 in Worcester, England, Royal Worcester was one of the oldest and most prestigious fine bone china and porcelain brands in the world and held royal warrants for centuries. As with many china producers, changes occurred and it stopped producing in Worcester in 2006, and is now managed by the Portmeirion Group. This piece is dated 1983 and therefore was produced during its Worcester days.
