Antique EPNS triple serving dish by B W & Co, dating to around the late Victorian / Edwardian period.
A decorative three-section design formed as large fluted scallop shells, joined at the centre with ornate scrolling detail and a naturalistic coral -form carrying handle.
The underside is marked B W & Co, with the surrounding marks reading EPNS, together with pattern/model number 2570.
A substantial and very decorative piece, ideal as a sweetmeat dish, nut dish, serving dish or even trinket dish or just for display piece.
Good antique condition with age-related tarnishing, surface marks and wear to the plated finish, particularly within the bowls and around the edges. I have left the patina largely as found rather than heavily polishing it. Please see all photographs for condition.
A handsome antique table piece with a strong shell and marine-inspired design.
