Beautiful Vintage Aynsley "Indian Tree" Teacup & Double Saucer Variation Set (3 Pieces)

A fantastic opportunity to acquire a unique mid-century grouping of Aynsley's iconic Indian Tree pattern, complete with two distinct factory colourway variants. Inherited in the mid-1960s from a great aunt, these pieces have been carefully stored for roughly 60 years.

What Is Included In This Lot:

·        1x Aynsley Teacup (Pattern A1173): Features a classic elegant question-mark loop handle with an inward thumb rest. Fully gilded foot ring and gold leaf rim. Measures approximately 6.6cm in height. Includes a stunning surprise pink flower painted inside the bottom centre of the cup. Mint condition.

·        1x Matching Deep Blue Saucer (Pattern A1173): The perfect official match to the teacup. Features the factory-updated deep cobalt blue accent floral palette with vivid teal leaves. Hand-inscribed pattern number on base. Mint condition.

·        1x Variant Saucer (Pattern A1179): A fascinating sister piece from an earlier factory run (batch mark 29). Features the softer, light-blue accent floral palette.

 Condition Details & Transparency:

·        Teacup & Deep Blue Saucer (A1173): Immaculate condition. The gold leaf borders and handle details show virtually zero rubbing or wear. No chips, cracks, or visible crazing.

·        Feinter Variant Saucer (A1179): The gold trim and pattern transfers are clear, but please note there is some visible circular surface wear/rubbing around the inner ring just inside the central picture where a cup foot has sat over time. No chips or cracks.

·        Total Weight: 415g (unpacked).

 Both saucers feature the official green Aynsley crown backstamp with "EST. 1775" typography dating them precisely to the late 1940s or 1950s era.
